October 2018 Meeting

Jon,

Fantastic presentation last week. I enjoyed my visit to the MUG and will return!

After doing some thinking, and learning, it seems that a Raid 5 is not a backup solution. I'm wondering if a Raid 1 with say 8 drives (4 net) would be a better solution for a home media server... say like Plex.

Thoughts?

Ron

Next meeting: Tuesday, 9 October, 2018

First Half Hour at 6 PM
Main Presentation at 6:30 PM
Jeff Carlson talks iPhone digital photography

Jeff Carlson, the well known author and photographer will join us via the internet.

Jeff will provide a ton of information about iPhone digital photography. You'll learn tricks and tips on using your iPhone (or iPad or iPod Touch) to take better pictures. Remember the adage, “The best camera for a job is the one you actually have with you.”

The meeting is at the Metrum Credit Union, 1/3 of a mile south of Arapahoe on the east side of Holly in Centennial. The doors will open at 6 PM, and the visit time will be from 6 PM to 6:30 PM. A good time to ask questions and get advice from fellow members! As always, we will meet about 5 PM and the Panera Bread on the SE corner of Holly and Orchard for a little supper.
